Earlier this year, Gretsch refreshed their Electromatic line of guitars and included this beautiful Orange Satin G5422TG in the lineup. I was skeptical, as my prior experience with Electromatics wasn't great BUT this guitar quickly showed itself as a completely different Electromatic than I was remembering. Beautiful aesthetics, a comfy slimmer double-cut body, and fantastic sounding Filter’Tron picks make this guitar a compelling option for anyone looking to try out a Gretsch hollow body without diving in to the deep end.
