Roots & Routes Peer Coach Academy 2.0 Kaunas cultural centre of various nations a.k.a. 154 kultūros July 22-31, 2025 Videographer - Giedrius Meškauskas This program for young artistic coaches offered a unique combination of practical application and personal growth – from developing public speaking and emotional intelligence skills to advancing in three artistic disciplines (dance, media, theatre) and learning how to apply them when working with diverse communities, planning and implementing creative workshops, and engaging in inclusive community art activities. The program includes both theoretical and practical workshops on topics such as conflict management, inclusion, group dynamics, community art, and methodology application. The project is implemented in collaboration with seven international cultural, art, and educational organizations in Europe – ROOTS & ROUTES Cologne e.V. (Germany), Associazione Centro di Creazione e Cultura (Italy), Empreinte (France), ROOTS & ROUTES International Association (Germany), Street Dance Center (Austria), Subjective Values Foundation (Hungary), and Synergy of Music Theatre (Greece) – as well as numerous national partners in the fields of culture, higher education, social work, and non-formal education in Lithuania, including Vytautas Magnus University Education Academy, VMU Theatre, Kaunas City Chamber Theatre, Kaunas Artists’ House, Kaunas Biennial, the arts agency Artscape, and Socialinis Sufleris. The project is co-funded by the European Union and the Department of National Minorities under the Government of the Republic of Lithuania.
