Systematic Study of Ephesians Honduras 2026 Introduction: This morning we are going to Kick off our Camping Meeting with a systematic verse by verse study of the book of Ephesians. Ephesians is a very practical letter written to a specific church that is meeting and assembling in Ephesus. However, this letter is filled with Doctrines that are essentially important to the Church today. This letter would have been circulated throughout the entire Asia Minor area. I asked my wife Melissa the other day and she said that Ephesians was one of her favorite New Testament books. I would agree, because this Letter written to the Church located in Ephesus actually helped to save our Marriage through its teachings that are taught throughout this letter, specifically the teachings found in chapter 5 concerning the husband and wife. Who can tell me who wrote this letter under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. _______ We know that Paul was the one who pinned this letter. We also know that Paul wrote this letter while under house arrest in Rome, along with Philippians and Colossians. Even though Paul is given credit for establishing the church in Ephesus, it is believed that most of the Evangelism efforts took place in this city primarily under the leadership of a married couple that traveled with Paul on his missionary journey’s named Aquila and Pricilla according to Acts chapter 18 and 19. We will look at Acts 18-19 in a few minutes to discover the Context of our Study. The city of Ephesus was located by the on the Aegean Sea that was full of commerce and wealth. It was a popular city to visit because of its large “Temple of Artemis” that was dedicated to their pagan goddess “Diana,” their fertility god. Many of the silversmiths made their living selling idol’s to those who visited the city. At night the city of Ephesus would become a very perverted place, filled with drunkards participating in ungodly acts of immorality in the midst of their pagan worship of their pagan goddess “Diana.” Paul would eventually be attacked by the silversmiths for decreasing the sales of their idols they would sale in and around the Temple. #ephesians #christ #journeychurch #jesuschrist #heisrisen #biblestudy #christlike #christianceremony #holyspirit #God #contemporary #church #thebody #sundayservice #JourneyChurch #ClevelandTN #ChurchInClevelandTN #TennesseeChurch #SundayService #ChristianCommunity #WorshipService #FaithJourney
