2 NEW Exciting Pastel Techniques!: Painting a Beautiful Field of Lavender Flowers

It seems like I'm always learning something new when painting with soft pastels. While creating this painting (that I painted without any lesson in mind) I discovered 2 NEW Pastel Painting Tricks that I will definitely use again. I'm so glad I was filming so I could share with you. Watch to find out and let me know what you think! This painting is of a beautiful field, blanketed with purple flowers. In this lesson you will be able to follow along with me as I... 1. Paint a brilliant underpainting using Inktense Blocks 2. Blend pastels with a method I've never tried before 3. Gently layer soft pastels to create a field of purple flowers and grasses 4. Make a color correction with a new technique (watch the video to find out)! So, my goal for this particular painting was to paint like nobody was watching.... but I'm thankful to share these new discoveries with you. I encourage you to do the same!
