Remove Mic Lead with After Effects Rotobrush and Content Aware Fill

Sometimes we capture things in our videos that we want to remove in post production. In this video I use the example of a microphone wire and show how to remove it in After Effects. I use a combination of the Roto Brush and Content Aware Fill and show how you can use them in combination to get a perfect result. If you follow along with this process you'll be able to remove almost anything from your videos. We start in Premiere Pro and replace the clip with an After Effects Composition, then using the Rotobrush we mask out the area to be replaced. There are a couple of tricks that you need to know but once done content aware fill will magically make the wire disappear from your video. Channel announcement.
