Raw Practice Warmup Freestyle

My favorite thing to do on the drums is to just sit down and play. I know that may sound obvious, but often I sit at my kit with an agenda or goal that I am looking to accomplish. For example I may be working on a video project, or practicing something from a book. Of course goals are necessary for growth and forward motion in life, but equally important is time to play freely, and without self judgement or analyzation. I usually don't set up a camera when I am playing this way, but on this day I did. You can watch as I mess around, focus in on new ideas, and just have some fun. It is sloppy, and in no way a performance, but I am hoping it inspires others to just play whatever comes to mind for a few minutes without thinking too much!
