The Valley of Flowers Trek & Hemkund Sahib Yatra is situated in the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand. It opens every year on 1st June and closes around last week of October(depending upon the weather). I am going to take you to a virtual journey to this trek in a budget friendly manner. It will take Rs 2400/- from Rishikesh to Rishikesh. *Nearest Railway Station-Yog Nagari Rishikesh *Nearest Airport- Jolly Grant Airport, Dehradun DAY-1 Take a bus from Rishikesh bus stand to Govindghat which will costs around Rs 600/- and you will reach Govindghat Gurudwara in the evening. Night stay at Govindghat. DAY-2 Take a share Taxi to Phulna village at Rs 50/- and after registration there will be a trek of 10 km to Ghangaria Gurudwara and you will reach in the evening. Night stay at Ghangaria Gurudwara. DAY-3 At 7AM try to start your trek to Valley of Flowers. Take your time because the level of trek is moderate and you have to return back by 5PM. Entry fees-Rs 200/-. No food stalls available on the route, so take a packed lunch with you.
