Oblivion is a virtual instrument I developed with the folks from Heavyocity! Having been a devoted user of Heavyocity products since Evolve and Damage debuted over a decade ago, I’ve always aspired to collaborate with them. Our creative philosophies align perfectly—both of us are deeply committed to crafting music that maximizes intensity and emotion. If you’ve heard my work, you know that’s what I’m all about, and Heavyocity provides the exact tools to achieve it. So, it was only natural that we’d eventually join forces—and we finally did! Oblivion marks the beginning of our collaboration, with more to come. The overall “sound” of Oblivion draws heavily from my work on Doom Eternal, Omega Impulse, Project Simulation, and the Justice League x RWBY films—it’s raw, aggressive, and unapologetically in your face. The source sounds in Oblivion were meticulously crafted and curated, each one uniquely designed using analog sources, synths, outboard gear, and pedals. Every sound was then carefully processed and stylized to the extreme.
