The A/C in my camper is annoyingly loud and doesn't cool off the front half very much. I looked into buying a premade air diverter, however it would cost $180 and still need to be customized for this 5th wheel. Instead I had some time, a half sheet of leftover foam insulation and HVAC tape from an old project. Basically this was free. It might cost you $10 if you needed to buy everything yourself. The entire project took only a few hours. Most of this was measuring, cutting outside, then cleanup as I was camping still, test fitting, then repeat. I would definitely do this again if I buy another camper. There was a huge increase in airflow, cooling, and significantly quieter. I no longer have to raise my voice to talk when the air conditioning is running. The front bedroom actually gets cold now too! My camper is a 2013 Open Range 318RLS 5th wheel with a Dometic Duotherm. Your air diverter design may be a little different than mine. The idea is to split the airflow evenly and smoothly to both air ducts. It doesn't need to be perfect as it's just a loud, leaking turbulent box already and anything is an improvement over that. Good luck with your design!
