Are these the most reliable electric bikes for real off-road riding? In this video, I put the ETM RTR Lite and the Rawrr Mantis X to a true real-world test far beyond neighborhoods and paved streets. These bikes are built for rugged use, and we took them down to our river cabin to prove it — riding rough trails, uneven terrain, and exploring areas most bikes simply aren’t designed to handle. Before we even hit the trails, we had to get the bikes there. We hauled them down using aluminum loading ramps we picked up on eBay, and that’s something worth talking about. Lightweight aluminum ramps make loading and unloading safer, faster, and way more manageable — especially when you’re dealing with heavy electric bikes. Steel ramps are bulky and harder to handle, but aluminum gives you the strength you need without the extra weight. If you’re transporting e-motos, good ramps are a must-have piece of gear. Once we got to the cabin, it was time to ride. Ethan, April, Kai, and I spent the day putting both bikes to work the way they’re meant to be used — off-road, off-grid, and in real terrain. We cruised trails, navigated rugged ground, explored the property, and just enjoyed being outdoors. We also did some recreational shooting while we were there, making it a full outdoor adventure day. One of the coolest moments was when April and Kai discovered a giant turtle shell while exploring — definitely not something you see every day and a fun surprise during the trip.
