On August 19, 2024, an Atlanta Police Zone 6 Officer was patrolling the area of 371 Boulevard NE. While patrolling the area he noticed a dispute near the intersection of Boulevard NE and Wabash Ave NE. Upon exiting his vehicle, the officer observed a male waving a firearm at a crowd of people. Seeing this, the officer drew his firearm and observed the male get behind a vehicle and toss the firearm. The officer was able to detain the suspect. The suspect was identified as 52-year-old Mr. Lee Bailey. Mr. Bailey was found to have 54 Criminal Cycles ranging from possession of narcotics, rape, kidnapping, armed robbery, and aggravated assault. Mr. Lee Bailey was charged with the following: -Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon -Disorderly Conduct -Public Intoxication He was transported to the Fulton County Jail.
