Hopefully this at least sparks some ideas for your own creation. Running the pump externally helps keep the water much cooler in a clone machine and avoids problems like roots getting into the pump. This is a lot of drilling so please be safe while drilling and take your time. This has worked great in our 13 gallon Ez-Stor buckets due to the rim around the bucket but it does not work in the 8 gallon size buckets. We offer DIY parts kits for this and already built machines.
