As per the breaking news on Times Now, a massive row erupted over the Haldwani Demolition. Over 4000 encroachers are set to be removed living in Uttarakhand's Haldwani. Starting January 1, these families started receiving eviction notices after their settlements near the Haldwani railway station were declared unauthorised colonies in a Uttarakhand High Court ruling. These people are staring at going homeless as the Nainital district officials have reportedly confirmed the decision to clear all illegal constructions from the Railway land. The Uttarakhand High Court ordered the removal of all illegal constructions in the said 2.2 km long property in December 2022.
