Duckling Rescue DIY: Storm Drain Covers

While visiting friends in Wisconsin, Spring 2025, I had my very first encounter with ducklings trapped in storm drains. Turn out, it’s a common occurrence and I had some free time on my hands to come up with a solution. I like to leave a place better than I left it, so this was my contribution. This video shows what works and what doesn’t and how I created storm drain covers that can help save the ducklings from falling in, and still allow the drains to do their job.
