The murder trial has begun for Rajwinder Singh, accused of killing 24-year-old Toyah Cordingley in Far North Queensland. Cordingley's body was found buried in sand on Wongetti Beach, south of Port Douglas, in October 2018, one day after she was last seen walking her dog. The 41-year-old Singh was arrested and charged in 2022, has pleaded not guilty, and faces a trial expected to last three to four weeks.
