I am interrupting the Christmas release schedule to share a gift for my dad. This is one of his favorite songs that I play, so this recording is for him. My dad is a living legend. He is the best earthly father a guy could ask for. He has worked tirelessly and stuck through it all to be here for my mom, my siblings, and myself. He is endlessly generous and loving. More importantly than all of that, he loves Jesus. He shares the hope that he has found in Christ relentlessly. I pray that someday I can be as bold as he is in sharing my own faith. Between knowing that I was recording this for my dad, my wife worshipping with tears just off screen, and the meaning this song holds for me personally, I just barely made it through this one!
