The one we've never done here finally makes an appearance, and quite an entertaining meeting at that too! Hard to believe that we are already into season finale time as this is the Vintage Sports Car Clubs last round for their circuit racing divisions. If there's one thing I have learned this year its that 100 year old cars can not only be far more entertaining to watch that you'd perhaps imagine, but do seem to draw a fair few eyes as well. This was fun to try and film in a different way too. Reminded me a lot of when I used to film at the hairpin as a kid and when I used to come up to a lot of the general testing days that have long passed us by. Nice to see everything from early sprint and Indycars all the way up to the gorgeous ERA GP2, plus the 120 year old Darracq 200HP speed car rebuilt after its nasty crash at Goodwood earlier this year. The highlight of the day had to be the Lightstone Tyres Light Car race on a very slick surface that a lot of competitors clearly had tremendous fun with their 100 year old versions of the Citroen C1!
