The Sarge: Honoring a First Sergeant 🇺🇸 | Old Dominick Barrel Pick for a Vietnam Veteran Father

This barrel pick means more than words can explain. We traveled to Memphis with 30 members of the Brewtally Honest Bourbon community to select a barrel at Old Dominick Distillery in honor of my father — a retired U.S. Army First Sergeant (E8). He served 21 years, including combat service in Vietnam with the Big Red 1, was an 82nd Airborne Master Jumper, and dedicated his life to service, leadership, and family. We completed this barrel pick on what would have been his 77th birthday. He passed away in July 2020 at the age of 71. This wasn’t just about whiskey. This was about brotherhood, remembrance, legacy, and raising a glass to a man who gave everything.
