The key to running the Matrix System is pressure, it is simply a high pressure system and takes a good amount to push water throughout the unit. We recommend between 40-60 PSI for these units. The two smaller units can use one tubing split off a bubbler (8 plants per), whereas the three larger units like this one here should be four plants per bubbler.⁠ ⁠ In order we have the reservoir, EcoJet R90 (1/3hp) pump, Could be plugged into a simple timer that does seconds such as a NearPow (amazon), Filter (likely not necessary for this system especially with our nutes), PSI regulator (not always necessary, you can test first, then add PSI gauge at the end right before bleed valve if it isn't working the way you want), Nylon Valve 2.0 (only necessary if you have multiple zones in which case you need a timer/controller that operates multiple zones), 2 Open Flow QDPSs (completely gutted Quick Disconnect Pipe Systems glued onto PVC), one Air Bleed Valve 2.0 (not necessary with just one bubbler), all of the same length 1/4" tubing coming off the QDPS/bubbler to ensure even distribution throughout, tubing fitted onto the 3" Circulator (goes with three larger Matrix sizes), water distributes onto the Matrix, through the holes and into medium.
