Once we see there’s current draw before prompt to boot, we use the Seek Thermal Cam (https://amzn.to/34I4whX) with Macro Lens (https://www.vccboardrepairs.com/buy-m...) and stand (https://vccboardrepairs.com/buy-seek-...) to try to find the source of heat. In this case, we found GSMPA_K was shorted. So we replaced it... but then we ran into trouble.
