The Cedars-Sinai Neurocritical Care Fellowship program is accredited by the United Council for Neurologic Subspecialties (UCNS) and geared toward highly motivated individuals who are interested in pursuing academic or clinical careers. State-of-the-art care is provided by a multidisciplinary team of board-certified neurointensivists, fellows, nurse practitioners, a neurocritical care pharmacist and neurology, neurosurgery and anesthesia residents. The Cedars-Sinai Neuroscience Critical Care Unit is a world-class, 24-bed unit that specializes in the management of critically ill patients with acute neurological conditions. Cedars-Sinai Medical Center is a nonprofit, Level 1 (highest level) trauma center located in the heart of Los Angeles. It was the first medical center in Los Angeles, and one of the first five in the nation, to earn Comprehensive Stroke Center certification from the Joint Commission in collaboration with the American Stroke Association.
