Thailand's HIDDEN Valley Paradise in Uthai Thani

Unseen or hidden Thailand are words that are bandied about way too often, especially as all the necessary information is readily available online these days. This 'secret' valley' nestled snugly within the Khao Pla Ra mountain range in the wilds of Uthai Thani Province in Thailand is visited more often now but still remains an unspoilt paradise. Within this hidden valley is a hidden cave, Hup Pa Tat, accessible only through a tunnel with a torch. It is home to flora and fauna that just aren't found elsewhere, and it has it's own ecosystem and sonic qualities. It was a cave but the roof collapsed 250 million years ago. It remained completely unseen until 1979 when it was discovered by a climbing monk and was inaccessible until 1984, when a cave was elongated and blasted out, thus creating an entry into this Jurassic like jungle paradise. This is a prehistoric place and many fossils have been found in the area, as well as cave art and dinosaur bones.
