For this color chart, I used my watercolor set of 12 by Schmincke and Paper Concept. Follow my art journey on instagram and get your daily watercolor inspiration: instagram.com/artcard_gav Each square is 1.5 cm with a space between them 2 mm. The size of the watercolor paper is A4. Place each color on the horizontal and vertical lines at the very top. Then I paint pure colors on the diagonal squares in the middle of the color chart. Yellow goes in the square where the left Yellow meets Yellow from the top, and so on. I write down the name of each color on the left side. You can do the same with the top row, I just don't have enough space to do it and I know that the sequence of the colors is similar to the vertical column. Once we are done with the pure colors we are moving to the most interesting part - mixing colors! You fill squares by just combining the colors that meet at each square. Each mixture will end up in two separate squares, until the whole chart is full! I begin from the top and mixing Yellow and Jaune Brilliant Dark, placing their mix in 2 squares. Color names from top to bottom on the left side and from left to right in the top row: Lemon Yellow Jaune Brilliant Dark Raw Umber English Venetian Red Potter's Pink Vermilion Ruby Red Deep Prussian Blue Ultramarine Finest Permanent Olive Green Neutral Tint If you have any questions, let me know in the comments below!
