January 14, 2022- The road getting to the Okefenokee Wildlife Refuge is a long one through the tallest of pine trees and the densest Georgia bog. It was a beautiful ride, nothing quite like what I’ve experienced in awhile… and I felt so grateful to have followed through on the inspirations I’ve gathered from the stories of people who have also ventured here. This was a perfect location for my first night back in the van and I’m filled with warmth at how I set aside time for this experience. I hope you enjoyed this early evening journey and camp set up.
