Happy Dilla Day!!!! courtesy of @kovarsound (on Instagram) original link :   / czto9t_akpk   Excerpt from a very cool Slum Village concert with J Dilla on stage, dated June 13, 1997, in Detroit (at Alvin's) : with a demo version (?) of the beat “4 Moms” which would appear in ATCQ's “The Love Movement,” a great freestyle (I don't know which song the lyrics are from) and “Players.” The original video is taken from a extremely well-hidden Instagram reel (I haven't seen anyone else share this video anywhere else) lasting 10 minutes, from the @kovarsound account (which seems to be the source of the 1996 Slum Village live recording with the famous “Feelin' Good” beat that HouseShoes shared a while ago). I've kept only the best moments from it here. It's not much, but it's still cool to share it with everyone! Thanks to @kovarsound for that!
