HP MJF TPU RUBBER - CLASS A PART NESTING TEST

We have been waiting for the release of Lubrizol new HP MJF TPU Rubber material since I managed to steal a sample of it last year from our HP sales guy. The applications for Class A safe details and nesting for our machine build clients seemed to hold huge potential. We recently got our hands on some part nests in this new TPU material and put them into our wear tester. The goal of this test was 2 fold: 1) Validate that this material is in fact Class A safe and will not mare, scratch, or chip a part that is both properly AND improperly aligned with the nest over thousands of cycles. 2) Act as an initial wear test for the TPU material to see how it holds up to a bad misalignment. The results are impressive!
