We squeezed in one last rescue for the year! Venus was going for meat price when we outbid to save her - this sweet girl does not deserve to be at risk. She is mostly heathy, sound with a wonderful temperament. Not all rescues are like this, in fact most times we spend $500+ dollars on vet care and medications to get horses over a cough, infection, or extreme weight loss. Oftentimes months of training are required. We bid on this horse solely because she was going for slaughter price we didn't see her in person or know anything else about her.
