Only when God took our lives to a halt did we see the dire need for change to happen. I was exercising religiously, doing all the right things, and checking all the boxes, but still, my soul was in a state of unrest. My body was sick, and I knew I needed to change something. We were very overwhelmed with our lifestyle. We were trying to manage everything, and our minds were in a state of constant stress. That stress became chronic and created illness in my body. Our bodies are not designed to handle the stress we put on them in our everyday lives. When your health is gone, then your ability to carry out your purpose is also gone. This season is about trying to retrain how we think about our health and also how we help others think about theirs. Simply put, we need to get back to our roots and the ways that God has set before us that we know heal our bodies. We need to be around God’s people, go outside, get rid of the standard American diet, sleep more, and have fun. We hope to help you - body, mind, and spirit from a Christ-centered perspective.
