Oniin’s choreographers Daniela Rapisarda and Alessandro Vacca at MoDem Atelier - Scenario Pubblico, Catania (Italy). The choreographers spent two intensive weeks with talented students of the pre-professional course of “Zappalá Danza” company by Roberto Zappalá. They transferred the choreographic language of Oniin Dance Company to these young dancers, this included: FLOOR WORK IMPROVISATION CONTACT REPERTORY CREATIVE PROCESS RELAXATION TECHNIQUES ABOUT ONIIN Oniin Dance Company, founded in 2012 by artistic director Daniela Rapisarda, was resident at “Teatro delle Celebrazioni" in Bologna (Italy) until 2014. In 2016 the company moved to New York, where it is active at Peridance Center - Broadway Dance Center - White Wave Dance Company. Our productions and workshops have been appreciated in New York, Seoul, Busan, Miami, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Fukuoka, Paris, Vienna, Osaka, Hiroshima. The choreographic style of Oniin is the result of almost twenty years of stylistic research tested with experience and passion by choreographers Daniela Rapisarda and Alessandro Vacca.
