This Sears at Louis Joliet Mall in Joliet, Illinois opened in 1978 and the store closed on January 6, 2019 after 40 years in Business this been the Sears I’ve grown as as a child I’ve been to this mall and Sears as a kid and it was doing well over the years until October 2018 it was announced that the Joliet location is scheduled to close on January 2019 on the 3rd week of October 2018 that’s when they put the closing signs and in December 2018 my parents bought a mattress from over there during the store closing sale and sad that it’s gone and abandoned because this was the story I’ve grown as a child.
