DREAD Sometimes I feel like I’m lost in my mind So badly that I can’t run or hide As I feel its grip is really tight I keep screamin’ “I DON’T WANNA DIE TONIGHT!” And so I refuse to kneel to the evil The bastard hides behind the shadows of people Who show fear, but it’s impossible to reach me ‘Cause I control my own life, there ain’t shit to teach me But I find out the hard way when I fall into a void The presence of it makes me paranoid Now the son of a bitch feeds into what he was looking for Leeches on like a goddamn parasite to my core It feels like I try to reach heaven, but feels like I’m being keelhauled To hell, but when I see the devil face to face, I’m ready to brawl In the end, he’ll be cryin’ and bowing down to me While he’s puking blood, I know I’ve won I know I’m finally free Poem by Karl Kush #poetry #dark #eerie #art #mentalhealthawareness #mentalhealthmatters
