Welcome to my playthrough of Resident Evil 2 Remake! I hope you enjoy watching Resident Evil 2 is a 2019 survival horror game developed and published by Capcom. A remake of the 1998 game Resident Evil 2, it was released for PlayStation 4, Windows, and Xbox One in January 2019 and for Amazon Luna, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch in 2022. Nineteen-year-old Claire Redfield arrives in Raccoon City in search of her missing brother, Chris. After stopping at a local gas station to contact her best friend, she either takes refuge inside the station’s convenience store upon encountering a group of zombies, or witnesses a horrific scene as Sheriff Daniel Cortini is attacked by one of them. In both scenarios, she is saved by rookie police officer Leon S. Kennedy, who had also stopped at the station and helps her escape. Together, they attempt to find safety in the city. Driving toward the city, the two were separated by a fiery crash but both fought their way to the Raccoon Police Station seeking shelter. Claire found the station in chaos, In one scenario, Claire meets Lieutenant Marvin Branagh at the Raccoon Police Department, who saves her from zombies and provides her with a combat knife, warning her not to hesitate in shooting zombies—uniform or not—before succumbing to the virus himself. While navigating the station’s underground tunnels, Claire encountered Sherry Birkin, the daughter of Umbrella scientists William and Annette Birkin. The deranged Police Chief Brian Irons kidnapped Sherry to obtain a valuable pendant, but he was later killed by William Birkin, who had transformed into the monstrous "G" after injecting himself with the G-Virus. Claire reunited with Sherry, but after a confrontation with William, Sherry was implanted with a G-Virus embryo. Annette Birkin sealed Sherry in a waste storage vault to buy time to create a vaccine, as children of a G-Virus carrier were at high risk of mutation. Claire carried Sherry to NEST, where she battled numerous mutated creatures. She managed to secure the vaccine to stop Sherry’s mutation. When the lab’s self-destruct sequence was triggered, Claire, Leon, and Sherry fled via an underground train. During the escape, William Birkin attacked again, but Claire and Leon fought him off and detached the train car he was on, sending it back into the exploding facility.
