Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin on Friday inaugurated a newly installed statue of philosopher Karl Marx at the entrance of the historic Connemara Public Library in Chennai. The statue has been installed by the Tamil Nadu government at a cost of ₹85 lakh. Stalin also visited a photo exhibition on Karl Marx and watched a short film highlighting Marx’s life and ideas.
