In this video I go over a little update on the trailer Hitch install done in the last video. I also go over why I chose the Yakima EXO SwingBase system for my additional storage needs and document my install process of that system. Trailer Hitch Install Video -    • Subaru Forester Wilderness 2022 - DIY Trai...   I did end up using electrical tape on most of the connections and wires that were exposed from the corrugated housing. The Yakima system component weights: EXO SwingBase - 68.5 lbs. EXO GearLocker - 27.8 lbs. EXO LitKit - 5.4 lbs. Total - 101.7 lbs. A quick internet search is showing that that the trailer hitch is rated for up to 350 lbs. so there should be plenty of capacity left for loading gear and potentially adding the EXO TopShelf later down the road.
