hey everyone! it's been a hot minute since i posted. i have a lot to put here so feel free to read :] watch new vs old: https://viewsync.net/watch?v=CMOcKH5A... ──────── when i first got into vocaloid and everything i like a lot of others thought it was an anime and looked up "vocaloid episode 1"--and i was met with this lovely mmd series called welcome to vocaloid. looking back on it now, it has a decent premise but was executed poorly--and i'm gonna say that's due to sheerly how old it is and the status of mmd at the time... but it also brought the fandom a lot of interesting rarepairs like leon and gumi;; it also gave newcomers to the fandom a distinct hatred towards meiko LOL i feel like if you haven't seen welcome to vocaloid before, i would suggest watching it. it's completely outdated and very much not in HD, but it's worth it. trust me. hopefully my remake of the second opening, carbuncle, is an accurate representation of the original. i tried to keep it as much the same as i could, and i hope you all enjoy it as much as i did making it and splashdream15, if you're reading this, please come back :[ ──── all credits are in the video! pls dont repost :(
