Massive Headframe/Ore Bin, Inclined Shaft Leading To Three Levels, Huge Stopes, Hike Across Dunes ⛏️

After a Jeep ride deep into Death Valley we hike miles through the desert and across a large set of sand dunes where we find a massive wooden headframe and ore bin over an inclined shaft. This is a multi level talc mine that was obviously a good sized operation. While the incline wasn't terribly steep very soft and deep sand from the dunes had blown into the portal making it necessary to use a rope while descending the shaft. We explored three levels on the approximately 300 foot deep shaft. There are huge stopes left behind where the talc ore was removed. The irregular shape to the workings make for an interesting explore. We hope you enjoy the video!
