How to Make a Tableau Book

Camille and Brindle show how to fold an altered petal fold book structure Camille calls a tableau book. With this simple alteration of the petal fold, you are able to create scenes and rooms with floor to ceiling views. Follow along as Camille walks you through the general folds using a simple square piece of paper. Use these directions to make your own square books. Camille also shows one of the patterns from her Etsy shop which does the measuring for how to convert this to a rectangle book. To make the square book pattern I like to use: three-inch square sheets of lightweight (27 pounds or 102 gsm) paper. I find that the books open and display the best if they have five folded square pages.
