Reus is a charming city, known for its rich architectural heritage and vibrant cultural scene. It’s located just 1 hour southwest of Barcelona. Reus belongs to the Catalunia region and has a population of around 100 000 people. You can reach Reus with train from Barcelona. It’s takes about an hour and a half. Reus also has it’s own airport which is served by airlines like Ryanair, Easyjet, Tui and Jet2. Reus is known for being the birthplace of Antoni Gaudi, the master architect that designed and started to build the Sagrada Familia in Barcelona. On the outskirts of the old town of Reus you can see the house where he spend his childhood. There is also a statue of a young Antoni Gaudi. Reus features many modernist buildings, including the striking Casa Navàs. The city’s historic center, with its narrow streets and lively plazas, offers a blend of traditional and contemporary Catalan life.
