Meant to be a companion piece to the L Nuclear video, like the cover art from the two albums (L Nuclear and its follow up, Disarmers), opposite worlds connect only by the symbol of the silver telephone, a common threat between opposite environments. One of barren desert, the other sprawling coastline, one of white denim, the other black leather. L Nuclear demonstrated physical isolation and searching. In this video for Alone '74, the search for connection takes place partly in a crowd, partly in homage to favorite films and painter/illustrators, and leading us we hope toward a sense of serenity and wholeness.
