It can come quite a shock to many, This Years International Whisky Competition winner is Dewar’s Double Double 32-year-old blended scotch whisky. Review in the description:- Nose:- an indulgent, immersive nose you just want to spend a hell of a lot of time with. Palate:- The palate was very PX, proper 80s style Speyside smoke and character present too, a lovely smooth sweetness, a lovely spice notes and so many layers. A great finish just rounds it out. Price :- Rs. 12,000/- | $150  The panel, which included whisky author Sébastien Gavillet and world-renowned mixologist Francesco Lafranconi, gave the scotch a score of 96.4 out of a potential 100. Everything about the elevated drinking experience suggests the fastidious workings of a precisely calculating blender. So it is without surprise that the woman responsible for this particular expression was also honoured separately with her own form of distinction. Stephanie MacLeod took home the award for ‘Master Blender of the Year’ at IWC.
