Come along for bird watching adventure as we take a river journey along the Susquehanna River. If you like waterfowl and other birds, you'll surely enjoy this video. See a rare Red-necked Grebe and a Belted Kingfisher with a fish in this weekly wildlife rewind. In this video: This week, I’m exploring the natural beauty of the Susquehanna Valley. We start at the wetlands of Wildwood Park and Fort Hunter, where spring is arriving with Red-winged Blackbirds, Red-bellied Woodpeckers, and a funny moment between an Eastern Chipmunk and a Northern Cardinal. Then, we travel downriver to a foggy morning at Safe Harbor Dam. Despite the mist, the wildlife was active! Watch for diving ducks, a Bald Eagle watching from the trees, and the highlight of the trip: a close-up of a Belted Kingfisher landing right next to me with its catch. Locations visited: • Wildwood Park and Fort Hunter (Harrisburg, PA) • Safe Harbor Dam & Park Subscribe to uncover more mysteries of wildlife and wild lands in Pennsylvania and surrounding areas!
