Sonus Paradisi released a new & free (!) sample set today. The Rudolf Janke organ from the Evangelische Stadtkirche, Bückeburg combines North German and Central German elements of the Baroque period. In this video I explore the different possibilities of the instrument. Even some German romantic pieces can work, because of the variety of soft 8' stops. I used a mix of various perspectives (direct, diffuse & rear) during the recording. Sometimes you'll hear a more direct sound and sometimes you'll hear more of the room the organ is in. Sonus Paradisi shares a generous free demo of this sample set. You can try the complete sample set: Hauptwerk and Oberwerk in all perspectives, Brustwerk and Pedal in two perspectives. The Brunckhorst piece is recorded with only two perspectives (diffuse, rear) to give you an impression.
