In this video we take a look at a set of battles in Season 9 of the Pokemon GO Battle League (GBL) in the Ultra League featuring Shadow Moltres, Articuno and Zapdos. Want me to showcase your battles on the channel? GO Battle League Submissions: https://forms.gle/whekpsdS8qrCq6mJ6 In today's video we are shout casting a set of battles in the Open Ultra League featuring another spicy team, this time using the Legendary Birds trio from the Kanto region! These battles were submitted to the channel by 'NoobNubin' and take place in the 2600 ELO range. This team is a throwback to the Pokemon Blue and Red days with the Legendary Birds from Kanto. It is very safe to say that this is NOT a team that is recommended to use in GO Battle League. It is a very spicy team and as a result of all three Pokemon being Flying types, there is a lot of crossover in their weaknesses. Shadow Moltres as the lead is running Fire Spin which provides a bit more coverage for the Galarian Stunfisk weakness on this team. It is extremely glassy and being a shadow makes this even more apparent. Articuno is the one Pokemon on this team that is actually a solid meta pick for the Ultra League. It has a lot of solid match-ups in the Open Ultra League with the ability to defeat Giratina, Cresselia and Swampert to name only a few. This is the only Pokemon of the three being featured that I would recommend building for the UL. Zapdos is a spice pick but it does still have some play in the Ultra League. It has a good move set and hits like a truck which makes it a reasonable pick. While it is not the most meta option, it does provide some coverage for this team, particularly against Pokemon like Talonflame or Jellicent. Overall, this is a spice team that is not recommended to build for the Ultra League. It has far too many weaknesses with little opportunity to escape such situations. These battles are meant for entertainment purposes only and I would only recommend building Articuno for the Ultra League. In this video we use a team consisting of: Shadow Moltres (Fire Spin, Sky Attack*, Overheat), Articuno (Ice Shard, Icy Wind, Ancient Power) & Zapdos (Thunder Shock*, Drill Peck, Thunderbolt). denotes Legacy move (may require Elite TM). __________________________________________ On this channel we cover PvP content mostly related to GO Battle League in Pokemon GO.
