Everything you ever wanted to learn about Nouns. First what is a noun? Well a noun is a word for a person, place, thing, animal or idea. Nouns are very important words. They act as subjects and objects in sentences and tell us the main idea of a sentence, the main actors in a sentence. In this episode we will look at the difference between Common and Proper nouns and look at how to make nouns plurals and possessives. At the end we will look at some ways to help identify nouns. Also Thor will make a few appearances. Rama will battle some zombies and we learn that boxes of cornflakes don't kill zombies when hurled at them. This is the second video in our series on Parts of Speech. Learning about the parts of speech in English is very important. It's important because the parts of speech are like the building blocks of the language and fit together to make sentences that have meaning in English. This video focuses on Nouns, words that name.
