This is the type of jam that you end the concert with, and you have the option to go on for hours without getting bored. Try it. You’ll see. The chords are Aadd2 F# m11 Esus Dadd2. This is just a fancy version of A, F# m E D (just adding some sustained notes). Harmonically we are talking I VIm V IV - the kind of chord progression that makes you feel all fuzzy and warm. The IV I, which is called a plagal cadence, is especially effective at imparting this feeling. Your approach should be either major pentatonic shred fest OR melodic playing in the Ionian mode. One FUN trick is to add you most shredding-est minor pentatonic licks over the IV I (the plagal cadence). You are basically pretending the D is a Dorian IV chord.
