Op- At first you might struggle figuring out where to start So what I recommend is that you should start with pyqs first, like I did So that is only to build momentum You’ll soon realise that there are chapters that you need to read understand and retain fully and that is when you start chapterwise…so first finish chapters like Cyst and tumors, developmental disorders, bone disorders, white lesions, salivary gland tumours Once you cover the above chapters Now go to dental caries bcz every year one question will surely be asked from that chapter and regressive alterations And then bacterial, viral and fungal diseases Forensics is also another important topic You should have a printout of syllabus with you, so that you only cover the topics that are asked Now once you’ve covered the major part , you have to check and telly with pyqs again to avoid missing any important topic like cellulitis, anemia, etc. Make notes of all the topics you are covering So this way you’ll cover your Op in almost 2-3 months And now the revision strategy, re read and re visit your notes in a orderly manner, you can also utilise the class tests to revise, or use active recall or blurting method, and whatever you forget just give it a reading, use histo diagrams for a better understanding, bcz if you know the diagram well, rest will come to your mind easily, i hope this helps #oralpathology #bds
