Foreign Affairs Minister Moses Wetangula yesterday put up a spirited fight in parliament against a motion that could potentially force him to resign from the cabinet over allegations of impropriety. Wetangula successfully managed to convince the speaker that he needed more time to read the recommendations of the report by the committee on foreign affairs. The report blames the minister and his PS, Thuita Mwangi over the Japan embassy property deal that reportedly cost the taxpayer over one billion shillings and recommends that he should step aside to allow for investigations.
