Five days trekking across the wild coastline of Jura, Scotland — just me and my little lad. We’d walked countless miles together over the years, but neither of us knew this journey would be our last. We crossed raised beaches carved by ancient seas, followed lonely trails along the west coast, camped on powder-white sand, chased sunsets we’d seen a hundred times… and still somehow for the first time. I didn’t feel the emotions at the start. Not even halfway through. It was just another adventure with my best mate. Another camp. Another coastline. Another sunrise shared side-by-side. But on that final stretch of the trail — when he slowed a little… when the wind dropped… when the island went still — it finally hit me. This wasn’t just another journey. This was the end of an era. The closing chapter of all the miles we’d walked together. This video is my tribute to him. To every trail. Every camp.
