Early voting has started, and in Fayetteville, we have two very important things to vote for - a new fire station and a new animal shelter! So we took Firehouse Phil, a Fayetteville Fire Department dalmatian, to the animal shelter to show just how important these two projects are! Question 4 would fund a new animal services facility. Parts of the current facility are over 50 years old. Aging infrastructure and systems impact disease control. A newer facility would be more humane, more compassionate, and more welcoming to our community, better serving both animals and humans. Question 9 would fund the construction of a new fire station, a modern training facility, and updated equipment to support faster response times and better fire protection for residents and businesses across Fayetteville. Question 1, refinancing the existing sales tax bond, MUST pass for either one of these ballot measures to move forward. We recommend voting for all ballot questions 1-9. On March 3, 2026, keep Fayetteville's one-cent sales tax working for our community! For more than 20 years, this single penny has built the roads we drive on, protected the water we drink, and created the parks and trails we love. By continuing that same penny - and WITOUT RAISING TAXES - we can invest in nine key areas that keep Fayetteville strong, safe, and ready for the future. The same penny. The next chapter. More than $335 million invested in Fayetteville's future without raising taxes. Vote FOR all questions 1-9. Learn more about all 9 questions: https://www.buildfayettevillesfuture....
