How to Knit: Open Twisted Rib Stitch | k1tbl & p1tbl | Figure of Eight Pattern

This striking knitting pattern looks intricate but is achieved fairly simply by knitting & purling through the back loop (tbl), 'passing a stitch over' (pso), and using yarn overs to create the lace effect. It's the pso that creates the horizontal strands between each 'o' shape in the pattern.
